The Hotmousepad provides isolation between your hand and a lower temperature working surface. It will prevent your hand from losing heat to the working surface and maintain circulation over extended periods of time while working on a computer that has a separate input device. It is automated with a sensor to detect hand motion and provide energy savings. After ~20 minutes of no hand motion, the Hotmousepad will turn off.
